Jama Masjid, located in the heart of Old Delhi, is one of the largest and most renowned mosques in India. Commissioned by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan and completed in 1656, this magnificent mosque showcases the grandeur of Mughal architecture. Constructed with red sandstone and white marble, Jama Masjid features a vast courtyard capable of holding up to 25,000 worshippers, three grand domes, and two towering minarets that offer panoramic views of Delhi.

The mosque’s intricate design includes detailed carvings, marble inlays, and geometric patterns, reflecting the artistic excellence of the Mughal era. The main prayer hall is adorned with high arches and a series of domes, creating a serene and majestic atmosphere for worship.
