“Francis Coppola was discussing a scene with Al Pacino and Diane Keaton outside Radio City Music Hall. It was late at night and very cold. I was walking home from the 𝘓𝘪𝘧𝘦 magazine office and happened upon them filming 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘎𝘰𝘥𝘧𝘢𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳. In the scene, Pacino learns his father has been shot when Keaton sees the 𝘋𝘢𝘪𝘭𝘺 𝘕𝘦𝘸𝘴 headline, “Vito Corleone Feared Murdered.” An interesting coincidence—Mafia boss Joe Columbo ‘advised’ on the production.” – Harry Benson
