Amer Fort, located in Amer, near Jaipur in Rajasthan, India, is a magnificent fort complex known for its blend of Hindu Rajputana and Mughal architecture. Built primarily by Raja Man Singh I in the late 16th century and later expanded by subsequent rulers, Amer Fort served as the main residence of the Rajput Maharajas of Jaipur until Jaipur city was established.

The fort is perched atop a hill, overlooking Maota Lake, and is accessed through a series of gates, including the impressive Suraj Pol (Sun Gate). Inside, Amer Fort boasts intricate palaces, courtyards, and temples.
