FAQ—Frequently Asked Questions
What makes Holden Luntz Gallery a unique website for the purchase of fine art photography?
Each photograph on the website has been specifically chosen and curated by Mr. Luntz as being representative of the highest quality available in fine art photography across various genres, price ranges, and sizes, each of which is searchable.
The aim of Holden Luntz Gallery has also been to become a destination for information related to fine art photography. Supplementary information such as interviews, stories, news, videos, and the blog enrich and expand the fine art photography experience. They are provided in order to educate clients about the medium in general, and artists and images specifically.
Can I view the artwork in person prior to purchase?
Yes. The website is headquartered at Holden Luntz Gallery in Palm Beach, Florida where almost the complete inventory listed on the website is housed. In practically all circumstances, the photographs are available to view at the gallery in person. For more information such as hours, location, or to set up an appointment, please visit our contact us page: Holden Luntz Gallery.
How do I know that the artwork is authentic?
In most cases, the artwork comes directly from the studio of the photographer which the gallery works with directly. In other cases, as is the case with most historic work, the gallery works with the estates of artists or obtains photographs through reputable sources in which the provenance can be traced. All of the photographs are either signed by the artist or have a photographer’s estate stamp. These details are listed as part of the information for each individual photograph on the website.
Holden Luntz Gallery has developed an international reputation among fine art galleries for its commitment and contribution to fine art photography as evidenced by its inclusion in the Art Dealers Association of America.
Are the artworks exactly as I see them in the images online?
Our images offer an exact reproduction of the artwork. However, screen resolutions and brightness may reflect subtle variations from the actual artwork.
How do I know if an item is available?
All items are available for sale if they are shown on the website and not noted as ARCHIVED. It is recommended to contact to ensure it is still available and for additional information.
Do you provide framing services?
The focus of the gallery is photography. We would be happy to provide opinions on how to frame specific images. In some cases, the photographs are already framed. Frames are available at an additional cost should the frame also be desired.
What forms of payment do you accept?
You may pay through bank wire, check, or credit card. Please note that every order must be fully paid for before we ship the artwork. Please contact us via email, phone call, or in-person at the gallery for more information.
What are your return and cancellation policies?
We warranty every photograph that we sell to be as it is described. It may be returned within 48 hours for a full refund as long as it is returned in the same condition that it was received.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. We are happy to ship most artworks to any destination in the world.
How are shipping costs determined?
Shipping costs are determined based on the dimensions and weight of the item purchased, as well as by the item’s origin and the shipping destination. We use FedEx in most instances. Please contact us to estimate shipping costs on a specific piece.
Will I be liable to pay import duty on my artwork?
Additional taxes can be applied if artworks are sent across country borders – these taxes are called customs duties and vary according to the countries involved and what is being shipped. Please contact us for more details about duties and taxes according to specific circumstances.
